EnviroStrat is a consulting firm based in Auckland, New Zealand. We specialise in the public sector, marine, freshwater, energy and infrastructure sectors and have delivered major projects for our clients throughout New Zealand and around the world.
Our principals combine strong tertiary qualifications with significant practical experience across strategy, policy, evaluation, complex stakeholder engagement, project, programme and change management, and business growth.

EnviroStrat Managing Director Nigel Bradly is an environment, energy, impact investment, and marine specialist with 23 years’ experience leading complex programmes around the world. Outstanding tertiary qualifications underpin practical experience across strategy, policy, economics, complex stakeholder and Maori issues, programme management, science, and local and central government.
Nigel has undertaken assignments for the World Bank Group, United Nations, several national-level government agencies in New Zealand, fishery and renewable energy companies in NZ, as well as the EPA and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and state government in the United States.
In addition to Envirostrat, Dr Bradly is an owner and director of businesses in the fisheries and education sectors.
Envirostrat Principal Cerasela Stancu is a sustainability specialist with over 20 years experience working on environmental and sustainable development issues across Europe, Asia and New Zealand. Since moving to NZ in 2005, she has worked with the public and private sector, especially primary industries, on issues regarding sustainable business performance and the uptake of strategies and practices for improved competitiveness and environmental outcomes.
Prior to working with Envirostrat, Cerasela held roles with Fonterra (manager for Living Water Partnership) and Landcare Research leading the sustainable business research area and the Enviromark certification programme. She also worked for New Zealand Trade and Enterprise regional office in Singapore; a role in which she was promoting New Zealand business interests on the basis of their sustainability solutions and performance.
Cerasela started her career in the non-governmental sector in Romania working with the public and private sectors to promote action for sustainable development and market-based solutions to environmental issues.
